Meet Caryn, our Sports Simulator lead and at Innovado. With 20 years of experience in marketing and business development across various sectors, Caryn decided to combine her professional expertise with her lifelong passion for sports.

Most weekends, you’ll find her on the sidelines, cheering on her kids. This love for sports inspired her to make a career out of it. At Innovado, Caryn brings that same enthusiasm and energy, driving growth and excitement in the sports sector. Ivan is our Lead Developer, with an impressive 5 years of experience in an industry not much older than that. Ivan’s suite of tools includes Unreal Engine, Blender, Zbrush and Substance Painter – a potent combination in the development of anything from Mixed Reality to Virtual Production.

Over the course of his career, Ivan has worked on multiple teams and projects spanning several industries – gaming, medical and events/marketing being but a few. Prior to this, Ivan worked as a Biomedical Engineer, having acquired a Master of Engineering post-graduate degree from the University of Stellenbosch. His previous education and experience provided excellent problem-solving tools that have proven useful in every environment since.
